“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2 Tim 3:16

When I finally turned my back on sin and devoted my life to Jesus Christ. The only book in the Bible that I had read was Revelation. I had searched the pages of this book as a carnal minded person because I loved end time prophecy. I wanted to know if the Bible was right about how the world would end. After I got saved my focus changed. I went out telling people about the good news of Jesus Christ and what he had done for me and how he had delivered me out of many bad situations and saved my soul. I wanted to get everybody to turn their back on sin. The only problem I had was that all I knew was that Jesus died for my sins and he was helping me get through, which is not bad, if you are involved in the right ministry. But when the ministry you are a part of misquotes or adds scripture in the bible, the unlearned (babes) shall surfer spiritually. In the beginning, when I got home I would open the Bible to where ever the book opened and start reading. I would get confused on what I thought God was trying to say to me. It might open to how to sacrifice animals, or how we must do all the works of the law to be justified by God, or how we are not justified by the works of the law but by faith, or how we cannot drink, or how Jesus turned the water to wine, etc. I quickly came to realize we cannot and are not supposed to do everything the Bible says. Don’t be alarmed at this statement because I’m sure you don’t see any Christian’s sacrificing animals around town.

The bible can be broken down in many different ways. Here are a few of the simpler ways…..

Old Testament and New Testament
Old Covenant and New Covenant
Death, Law, Grace

The most simple for understanding and getting the message the bible is giving is studying it in the seasons of Death, Law, and Grace. These are the three seasons and periods of change that direct us to how we are to conduct ourselves as Christians today. For the beginner I believe this is best, since using the Old testament/New Testament cutoff is deceptive for the new reader in that where the New Testament starts is not the start of season of grace but includes it in the later chapters. Starting with Jesus’ death and resurrection we are in the season of grace to this present day.

Romans Chapter Five gives us these seasons for our understanding of scripture. From Adam to Moses death reigned. Adam committed the original sin and changed our relationship with God. This relationship came with swift judgment by God. This is the time we see God destroying the inhabitants of the world with “the flood” and Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed for their love of sin. The next season God established was the Law with Moses. This law was to govern the descendants of Abraham which God had made the first covenant with. This season continued on until the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus a Jew was born under the law and taught under the law. At his death and resurrection Jesus’ death fulfilled the law and the season of grace was ushered in. The books that coincide with these seasons are…..

Death- Genesis
Law- Genesis —John
Grace- Acts — Revelations (until present day)

Many quote from different parts of the bible out of season. The bible states that to everything there is a season. If you are a farmer and you don’t know what season it is, you won’t know when to till the soil, or plant your crops, water them, or collect the crop. The “Parable of the Sower” talks about the wheat growing with the tares. Children of God are the wheat and children of satan are the tares. God allows these to grow together for a season until it is harvest time. At the time of harvest, God’s angels will separate the wheat from the tares, thereby putting a wedge between the good and the bad. The Bible, as each season progresses, slowly separates the good and bad so that when we study, we get understanding. For instance the Law of Moses was not given in the bible for us to justify ourselves before God, but for us to learn from and know sin. Rom. 7:6-7. There is some confusion on what is it that we are still supposed to do to make ourselves right before God, but Paul in Gal. 3:10-12 clearly states, “for as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all the things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for, the just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, the man that doeth them shall live in them”. This scripture under the season of grace which is the last season of the bible is opposite to what is written during the time of the Law of Moses. To be under the law is to follow 613 commandments given to Moses. So understanding that not all parts of the bible are for today’s righteous person to do, the complete Bible gives us a great book to learn from and grow spiritually.

Who is Jesus? Many in the bible wondered the same thing, because he came and stood against the Jewish tradition that had woven itself into the worship of God. The flesh is satisfied with the works of the flesh and Jesus destroyed that. The same issues and spirits that caused problems in that day still move in the church today. Jesus the Christ was against the traditions of man and yet the church today still embraces the traditions of man. Its amazing that even though so many say that we are to worship God in spirit and in truth, they justify themselves by church attendance. Jesus was sickened by the false and vain worship of that time.

Who is Jesus? He was born to a virgin. He was born in a manger. He was a carpenter. He was not in a lineage of Levite priests. He was not the son a preacher. He died on a cross in shame.

Who is Jesus? He is the lamb that was slain since the beginning of time. He came so that we might have an abundant spiritual life through his death and resurrection. He healed and set the oppressed free. The deliverer.

Who is Jesus? Our eternal high priest on the right hand of God. The lamb that covers our sins so they can be seen by God no more. Our only access to the father. The Door.

To many these revelations of Jesus have only surface value. Most don’t understand that Jesus didn’t come for peace but with a sword (Matt 10:34).

JESUS DID NOT COME SO THAT YOU MAY BE A MILLIONAIRE!

Not knowing who Jesus was opens the door for a false messiah or false Jesus. Evil spirits play the minds of the spiritually weak and spiritually arrogant leading to a false realization of Jesus. Those who are children in Christ are easily deceived because they are not grounded in what they believe and let emotion and pressure take them down a spiraling path that leads anywhere but to Jesus Christ. Those who are arrogant in their walk with God believe their revelations that contradict bible teachings, are a revelation to what God is doing now and who Jesus is. They will mix and match catchy ideals and entertaining sermons to fake an anointing from the Holy Spirit thinking all along they are walking with Jesus (Rom. 16:18). They will call on the name of Jesus, not knowing that the Jesus they call on is not the real Jesus the Christ. They will be surprised on the day when Jesus tells them he never knew them. (Matt. 7:22-23). If they were doing great works in the name of Jesus and yet Jesus says he never knew them…….What Jesus were they using? An Imposter? So many powerful works yet without the power of the real Jesus Christ?. I think that this scripture sums is up, (2 Cor. 11:14), “and no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light”. Many “Christians” follow Satan without even realizing it. They are a child of disobedience (Satan), by the works of their flesh.

In a lot of Christian churches, Satan has diluted who Jesus Christ really is. Satan replaces faith, spirit, and truth with tradition and works of the flesh. Justifying those worshippers in vain with what they see and feel, yet never coming to a knowledge of truth.
(2 Tim 3:7)

The true Jesus Christ has such a great pull on people that many religions appear to embrace him, yet they are really using him as a token to pull your belief system away from the true Jesus Christ. Muslims embrace Jesus the prophet, Hindus embrace Jesus the enlightened, Wiccans embrace Jesus as part of the “mother earth”. Catholics pair him as a baby next to the great Mother Mary. Mormons put him on a spaceship. These path ways include Jesus Christ but divert you from his true purpose….Salvation of his people. Why do these religions embrace Jesus Christ when he didn’t embrace them? They are embracing an imposter. These doctrines are designed by devils to dilute and destroy a knowledge of the true and living Jesus Christ.

When the Apostle Paul stated that the effeminate will not inherit the Kingdom Of God, he was referring to men that are lovers of men. During this time homosexuals were around as they are today. Although the prevalence was not as great, this spirit has wrestled with the lusts of men and women since the beginning of time. Sodom and Gomorrah was God’s 1st judgement of homosexual sin.

Satan’s disorder and disobedience is what caused him to fall from Heaven. He was a beautiful angel of glory. He was in charge of the music in Heaven. He thought himself to be so great that he was thrown out of Heaven, never to see righteousness again.

The primary job of Satan and his evil spirits is to take whatever God has created and make it unclean. As evil is the opposite of good, Satan tries to get us do the opposite of what God has called us to do and be. God has called men to be husbands, fathers, and protectors. God has called women to be wives, mothers, and to nurture. Satan would have men be women and women be men. Through this process he unseats man from his place of spiritual authority, in-turn nullifying the power that God has given to man.

This rise of the gay nature I believe is direct evidence of the end of time as referenced in the book of Revelations in the bible. The increased spiritual activity has resulted in a decay of morals(falling away) which was prophesied before Christ’s return. I believe it is imperative that we protect our young boys and girls that they may know Jesus Christ and know the difference between good and evil.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6: 11-12.

As a Christian we must embrace the battle that rages in the realm of the spirit. We being mind, body, and spirit must always first trust our spirit. This is the place that God speaks to our inner soul. This spirit also moves in a realm that is more real than our natural existence. As a child we move first in body then mind. As a young adult and older, maturity has us move more in our minds first. When we mature in Jesus Christ we learn that our mind must cling to the spirit of God.

When we accept this spirit of God it gives us power in the spirit realm that can directly affect what happens in this natural world. It is no doubt our battle is not in flesh and blood. We truly battle against demonic forces beyond our natural perception. These forces oppress and possess the minds and bodies of men. The fall of mankind from the first Adam till present day times has been affected by these forces. All Evil Spirits have a mission of diluting and destroying the message of Jesus Christ through whatever means necessary. This includes killing those who preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Knowing that Satan and his demonic forces look to destroy the works of good, Christians, must put on the “whole armor of God”. These pieces include…The Breastplate Of Righteousness, The Shield Of Faith, The Belt Of Truth, The Shoes Of The Gospel Of Peace, The Helmet Of Salvation, and The Sword Of The Spirit.

1. The Breastplate Of Righteousness refers the a man keeping himself away from sin, therefore protecting him from death, which is the result of sin.

2. The Shield Of Faith is our protection from doubt in turn protecting us from all the lies and deception that exist in this world. Paul refers to these deceptions as “fiery darts of the wicked”

3. The Belt Of Truth is what keeps us from stumbling in our understanding of God. The bible says that we worship God in spirit and truth.

4. The Shoes Of The Gospel Of Peace refers to Gods desire that we be peacemakers. “Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.” 2 Cor. 13:11

5. The Helmet Of Salvation refers to mans choice to believe in Jesus Christ therefore securing a place for the soul(mind) in heaven.

6. The Sword Of The Spirit is the word of God. When Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness, Jesus fought him by quoting the word of God.

These pieces are essential to fighting against devils. If we choose to not embrace these principles it will certainly result in a spiritual death. Spiritual death is what cuts us off from God and this is why Satan works so hard to achieve this.

Friends, trust in God in all you do. “That ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand, stand therefore.” Eph. 6:13-14
